WHAT TO EXPECT AT MY FIRST LESSON
At your first violin lesson, you can expect to have a lot of fun while getting introduced to the basics! Your teacher will show you how to hold the violin and bow properly, making sure you’re comfortable. You’ll likely start by learning simple bowing techniques and might even play a few open-string notes to get the feel of the instrument. Don’t worry if it feels tricky at first—everyone starts somewhere, and it’s all part of the learning process.
